Fredrikstad FK is hosting Yoboue, a 16-year-old from Ivory Coast, who has been captain of the U17 national team. Yoboue has already been to Fredrikstad once before, when he visited the city in March and got playing time when Fredrikstad lost to KFUM in a training match. Sports manager Anders Jensen says that Yoboue made a very good impression during his first visit. Yoboue is a central midfielder who has good game understanding and technical skills. He also has exciting leadership qualities that have made him a captain candidate on the national team. The plan is for FFK to have him stay here for three weeks, so they can get to know him better and he can get an even stronger impression of FFK and the city. Yoboue comes straight to Fredrikstad from a gathering with the U20 national team of Ivory Coast. For a player who was born in November 2008, it is naturally strong to be part of the U20 national team, says Anders Jensen. It's both a different culture and a slightly different climate, and in that sense, it's good for him and his development for a possible transition next year, he continues. FFK hopes to get a lot out of the visit and create good relationships for a potential future transfer. There is also a striker from Cameroon who will train with the club's recruitment team from the beginning of July.
