Fredrikstad FK has several players on national team camps in June. Rocco Shein is with Estonia's A-national team, while three players are represented for Norway U21. Rocco Shein and his Estonia will participate in the Baltic Cup in early June. The tournament is held every other year and consists of Estonia, the Faroe Islands, Latvia, and Lithuania. The reigning champions are Estonia, who defeated Lithuania 4-3 in a penalty shootout in 2024. The semifinals will be played on Saturday, with Estonia facing the Faroe Islands. The match will be played at 17:00. The bronze final and final will be played on Tuesday, June 9. Next summer, the U21 European Championship will be held in Albania and Serbia. Qualification is going well, with Norway topping their group after five of eight matches. Qualification will continue in the fall, while now a training match will be played before the summer. On Monday at 18:00, Norway U21 will face Finland at Melløs Stadium in Moss, with three FFK players on the Norwegian team. Martin Børsheim, Jonathan Norbye, and Henrik Skogvold will all be part of the gathering. The June selection marks another selection with good FFK representation around the world on national team camps. So far in 2026, we have had seven players called up for age-specific matches for Norway. In addition to the three mentioned, Eirik Granaas, Arigon Fejzullahu, Lukas Lisac, and Liam Mansell have also represented different Norwegian national teams in 2026 – a total of seven FFK boys who have been on a Norwegian U-national team so far this year. In comparison, we had ten players on Norwegian U-national teams in all of 2025.
