Fredrikstad FK will have a dialogue at 07.00 on the days when there will be a training match at the Stadium. This is a direct consequence of the cancellation on Saturday.

What happened?

FFK was supposed to host Sandefjord for a training match, but missed out on valuable match training because there was one to two centimeters of snow on the field. Geir Bakken, the daily leader, came out strongly against the municipality after the cancellation.

Why is this important for Fredrikstad FK?

The municipality is the owner of Fredrikstad Stadium, and FFK pays around three million a year to play and be there. The artificial turf has made it possible to train all year round - as long as there is no snow on the field.

What's happening now?

On Tuesday, the municipality and FFK met to outline the course ahead. Both say it was a constructive and good meeting, and referred to a press release that would come. | Date | Event | | --- | --- | | February 13 | Cancellation of training match | | February 16 | Meeting between the municipality and FFK | | February 20 | Planned training match at Fredrikstad Stadium
